Our Story
The face behind Willowbury Lane Home Decor?
Hello my name is Liz Pflum and I have always had a passion for transforming spaces and an eye for detail. Breathing new life into worn furniture has been a joyful journey for me. In 2018, I took this passion to the next level by opening a small business from my home in Markesan, WI, where I began refinishing and repurposing furniture, both from my own collection and from customers.
As my creativity flourished, I ventured into creating handmade gnomes. What started as a few designs quickly blossomed into an incredible passion, resulting in over 4,000 unique gnomes crafted over the past seven years.
Each one carries a bit of their own charm and love!
During this time, my dream expanded to include opening a home decor store in Door County, where I could showcase my talents and love for home furnishings and design. In November 2024, that dream became a reality when ! purchased a charming retail shop in the Top of the Hill Shops located in Fish Creek Wisconsin.
